Purchase terms
Terms for purchasing and using COMPCTRL. Applies to both consumers and businesses.

The service
COMPCTRL is a web-based service for planning, running and publishing competitions. A purchased package covers one event and the number of start slots included in that package.
Price, VAT and payment
Prices are stated in euro (EUR) and shown excluding VAT. VAT added where applicable and is calculated by our payment provider at checkout.
Payment is made by card through our payment provider. The order is activated once payment is confirmed.
Activation and access
Access to the event starts immediately once payment is confirmed and the order is activated, even if the event is further ahead in time.
Access ends 30 days after the event date. An upgrade keeps the access that has already started. If the event date changes, only the end date moves.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Swedish distance selling law. Because access starts immediately, you expressly request before payment that delivery begins during the withdrawal period.
If you withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already delivered. The right of withdrawal ends when the service has been fully performed.

Refunds
Refunds are issued for double charges, failed activation that cannot be remedied, or a serious fault that is not fixed within reasonable time.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Cases are handled manually and you are informed of the decision.
Business purchases
The consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in a business capacity. Ordinary rights regarding faults and complaints still apply.
Complaints and support
Report faults to support@simrace.dev. Include the order id and event name. We confirm receipt and respond with an action.
Your responsibilities and prohibited use
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the right to process participant data.
You may not attempt to bypass access controls, place abnormal load on the service, enter unlawful content or resell the service without an agreement.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Consumers may turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Disputes may also be heard by a Swedish court.
